Joan Eardley (1921-1963)
I'm back in the studio again now beginning work for my October show at the Leith Gallery. Whenever I'm in need of inspiration I look to great painters like Joan Eardley. Here are a few of her paintings for your viewing pleasure. When I have a moment to spare I'll write a wee article about Joan and her work to go along with these amazing paintings. Enjoy!

They're absolutely gorgeous paintings Mirjana. Her death at such a young age was a real loss to Scottish painting. All the best and thanks for visiting my blog too. :)
